For the mid-range traveller - Marriott Courtyard Hong Kong

If you’re into authentic neighbourhoods, beautiful harbour backdrops and convenient transportation, then Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong is perfect for you. Located less than 10 minutes from Central in a friendly neighborhood away from the crowds with plenty of local restaurants and cafés, Courtyard is perfect for business travelers and those looking to immerse themselves into a laidback part of Hong Kong.

If you’re checking out the neighbourhood, venture over to ultra trendy Sai Ying Pun for a bite or tipple, head to Lin Heung Kui for some really traditional dim sum or pop up to nearby Winston’s Coffee for a really good cup of joe.

For the budget traveller - Butterfly on Hollywood

Butterfly Hotels are popular in Hong Kong for being boutique hotels at a budget price-point. But there really is nothing "budget" about your stay. The rooms and facilities here channel flairs of Los Angeles, Hollywood in homage to name of the street they’re located on, complete with trendy and interesting movie set props, actors chairs, paintings of celebrities and other amazing details.

While there are several locations, we chose Butterfly on Hollywood Road because it’s within walking distance to the vibrant district of SoHo where you’ll find the historic Man Mo Temple, street art and countless bistros and top notch coffee shops. A great hotel for the traveling couple or price conscious traveler.

You know a hotel is ready to cater to your family when they offer a room specifically for families! Dorsett’s Family Quad Room provides enough space for a nuclear family of four and little touches guaranteed to keep your kids occupied including toys, children’s books, teddies and a gaming system. Located in between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay, the area also fits the bill as the perfect area that has pretty much everything you’ll need in walking distance. Think shopping, restaurants and amenities - this is the perfect spot to be for all this and more.

Kids won’t stop acting up? Well, you can threaten not to take them to Ocean Park, which is only 15 minutes away by taxi. Just kidding, don’t do that.
